I'll give you firsties credit Underhill. I did not finish reading it until after I commented.

Good blog Lucas. I agree on your assessment of Neilsen. I was really impressed with him at the rookie tournament. I'm eager to see how he does at the NHL level.

According to friend Tanner, Gardiner has been Toronto's best d-man

Good blog Lucas.

Every time I think the Leafs have a good prospect and say it....never pans out.

So I'm not saying anything about the DMan you mentioned even if I were to 100% agree....not saying I do but I might but even if I did I wouldn't/couldn't say it if I did so I won't because I don't.

Definitely not. He's not been as bad as all the female doging would suggest, but he's not been great. Performing roughly around my expectations for the most part. Rielly has been a disappointment so far, but he's got the talent to turn that around.

The two I've been happiest with so far are Zaitsev and Carrick.

Might not want to get too excited about bracco, he could be packaged! With there defensive woes, bracco, kappy brown? Could be on their way out!the leafs are going to have to make a decision, play out the season with a bottom five Finnish (probably the best )and wait to draft and free agent sign next year, or go for a fowler, Montour (spelling? )type deal!do they chance a Edmonton Oilers situation? Having forwards and no d men to speak of ,or wait 2 to 3 years to develop?without a lindholm available, I'm sure they have a plan, but I don't think they new how great their rookies were going to preform

Well, yes - we have of course all been talking this summer about how the Leafs were ready to challenge for the cup this year.

If the game was called "ringette" than YES.

But he's played "ok" as Randy would say.

I think his game has been pretty good, I likes when he steps up and puts the shoulder into somebody. and he can fire that biscuit pretty good too.

Most of us did.
However, had Andersen played decent for a couple of the early games,we could have easily won two more games. Which would put us on par with the jets for wins.
In fact, I think we are only 1 pt behind them.
And we've been complete crap.

Lou made him shave his beard and he made Matt Martin shave his Samson-curles.
both invisible after that.

Someone should start one of these online petitions to let them grow their hair back.

He wants them to look respectable I guess.
As he not seen the leafs the past several years.....nothing respectable about them.
